Who is God?
God is the Sovereign Creator of the whole universe. Righteous in His dealings, just in His ways, and holy in His being, God is loving and merciful toward mankind.
Who am I?
You are a sinner by nature and practice. You do not and can not please God on your own, nor can you find acceptance in His sight. You are everything God is not.
What should God do to me?
Since you, like everyone else, have sinned according to Romans 3:23 and the wages of sin is death according to Romans 6:23, God should cast you from His presence into hell forever as your just wage for your sin against Him.
What has God done instead?
God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in payment for your sins. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead. He had paid the wages of sin by dying. Therefore, sin and death had both been conquered. Eternal life is now available to all who believe.
How should I respond?
You should repent of your sins and by faith ask Jesus Christ to save you from your sins and be your Lord and Savior as suggested in Romans 10:9-10.
When should I respond?
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2b
